Carlene McCook-Allen

Vice Principal

Mrs. Carlene McCook‑Allen serves as Vice Principal for Academics at Clan Carthy High School, bringing over twenty‑three years of teaching experience and more than fifteen years in leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of the West Indies and a Professional Qualification for Principalship from the National College for Educational Leadership, underscoring her dedication to professional growth and effective leadership. A passionate educator and instructional leader, she is committed to promoting academic excellence, student development, and continuous school improvement. In her role, she provides strategic leadership in curriculum implementation, instructional supervision, assessment, staff development, and monitoring student progress. She collaborates closely with teachers, heads of departments, parents, and students to strengthen learning outcomes and foster accountability, teamwork, and innovation. Guided by her philosophy, “Better Behaviour – Better Learning", Mrs. McCook‑Allen inspires discipline, excellence, and lifelong learning, cultivating a supportive environment where both staff and students are empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
